Scholarships & Financial Assistance
LREDA offers the following scholarship opportunities. Specific information about applying can be found in the member portal.
New! LREDA CARES Fund
We now have a CARES Fund to be used for non professional support for our membership, funded from our capital reserves. On a case by case basis, the CARES Fund can be used for reduced rates for dues or personal/health support and may not exceed $500 per case. Please reach out by email to any LREDA Board member if you are in need. Support is also available from the Living Tradition Fund of the UUA. They can provide emergency assistance grants to religious professionals and their loved ones.

Financial Assistance for LREDA Events
In addition to a sliding scale, LREDA offers the opportunity to apply for needs-based financial assistance for attending LREDA events including the Fall Conference and Spring Professional Days.
Waiver of Membership Dues
In event of financial hardship, a member may apply for a partial waiver of dues, confidentially and without loss of rights and privileges of membership. Such a waiver is for one fiscal year and reapplication must be made annually when needed.
Support for Key Programming & the Endowment
Please help support other key programs such as the Fahs Lecture Fund, IBPOC Chapter Fund, and the Endowment.
