21st Century Committee

 This Committee administers grants that support innovative projects that serve Unitarian Universalist educators and education. The 21st Century Grant program is funded by the LREDA Endowment. Funded programs in recent years include: initial training for mentors in the Religious Education Credentaling program (2003); creation and publication of the LREDA Integrity Team anti-oppression best-practices brochure (2004); funding for Sexuality Education: Guide for the Inclusion of People with Special Needs - a supplement for the Our Whole Lives Sexuality Education program (2006); and initial funding for the Religious Education Education Futures Committee - a three year project to consider and make plans to support the needs of future Religious Education professional leadership (2008).
