Heartland Chapter
The Heartland LREDA Chapter offers connection and support for religious educators in the Heartland area. Traditionally, Heartland included Michigan, Indiana, and portions of Ohio and northern Kentucky. We are flexible and open for other religious educators in the MidAmerica Region who are interested in joining, connecting and participating.
Heartland Spring Retreat (May 28th-31st)
You spend all year pouring into others, we invite you to take this time to refill your own cup alongside colleagues who understand.
- When: Tues May 28 (4PM) - Fri May 31 (Noon)
- Where: Oakwood Retreat Center
- Cost: Sliding Scale $400-$650

To pay by check, write your name and Heartland Retreat in the memo line and mail it to: LREDA, 284 Hartford Ave, #1002, Bellingham, MA 02019. Email Juliet if you would like an to pay via an invoice
LREDA now accepts payments using Venmo. Use @LREDA-org. Look for the LREDA flame to ensure you have the correct link. If you use this option, email Juliet at admin@lreda.org to let her know.
Membership
Annual chapter dues are $35 per year and the chapter is open to anyone who is a member of the national LREDA organization.
To pay dues use one of the buttons below, or send a check made payable to LREDA, with "Heartland Dues" and your name in the memo line to LREDA, 284 Hartford Ave, #1002, Bellingham, MA, 02019.

Zeffy doesn't charge credit card fees for non-profits

Connecting
We offer an in person annual retreat, usually in the late spring in Indiana. We also have monthly northern and southern cluster Zoom meetings which offer opportunities for both personal and professional check in as well as deep listening, brainstorming and problem solving as appropriate.
The Northern Cluster Zoom meetings occur on 3rd Fridays at 2:00 PM and includes congregations in Michigan and northern Indiana. Join their Facebook group
The Southern Cluster Zoom meetings occur on 2nd Mondays and includes congregations in Indiana, Ohio and Kentucky.
